A privately held technology company that provides a SaaS eCommerce platform called BigCommerce has rolled out a new integration with global payments platform with Adyen, giving more than 60,000 merchants access to an all-in-one payment solution. With the help of this new integration, merchants will now be able to offer payment options locally and through different portals in over 145 currencies.
“Consumers are more likely to complete the checkout if they can pay using their preferred payment method with home currency, and merchants need access to tools that can provide that localized experience to international shoppers,” said Jim Herbert, EMEA GM for BigCommerce. Furthermore, according to a survey, just over 42% of merchants view the offering of local payment methods to international shoppers of high importance for their business.
All in all, this will also help customers for these merchant companies to pay the way they want, no matter wherever they are across the world.
